Question:
My rhinoplasty involved ear cartilage grafting to the bridge but it looks way too big now. I’ve waited a year and I don’t think the swelling is to blame. What can be done to fix this and how difficult of a procedure would this be?
Answer:
Without seeing the final result of your Rhinoplasty it would be difficult for me to comment on the degree of difficulty it would be to correct your result. If the cartilage is well healed and stabilized and all you are concerned with is the excess auricular cartilage that is making the nasal bridge appear wide, a minor rasping procedure or cartilage trimming may be all that would be necessary to bring your Rhinoplasty result into balance with the rest of your face.
