Question:
In what situation would a brow lift be performed along with a facelift? What would the results of such a procedure look like?
Answer:
When I evaluate a patient for facial rejuvenation, I separate the face into equal thirds. The brow and upper lids are the upper third and the face and neck are the lower third. Having a brow lift performed at the same time as a face lift will help to enhance the appearance of your upper face, but, would likely have no effect on the outcome of the face lift which is designed to treat your jowls and neck. A more youthful brow, however, would make the rest of your face appear more rejuvenated, too.
