Question:
Now at 60 years old, I need a booster for the facelift I had 11 years ago. Can laser skin resurfacing rejuvenate a previous facelift?
Answer:
Laser skin resurfacing procedures are good adjuncts to facelift surgery. Facelift surgery helps to reposition the skin of the face and remove excess skin of the face. In a sense, a facelift is responsible for the quantity of the facial skin. Laser skin resurfacing is mostly responsible for the quality of the facial skin, and less so, the quantity of the facial skin. Laser skin resurfacing is a good way to improve the facial skin wrinkling and texture, but, if you have a significant amount of excess facial skin, you will still need to have a revision facelift, but, possibly a mini facelift.
