Question:
I recently heard of something called a lateral brow lift. Can you explain what this is?
Answer:
A lateral browlift is performed by making an incision in the hair in the temple above the level of the eyebrow. The scalp and eyebrow is then dissected free from its attachment to the skull and the eyebrow is elevated in an upward direction primarily at the lateral or side portion of the eyebrow. The lateral brow lift is used in those individuals who have mostly eyebrows that droop at the outer portion of the brow. The recovery is usually under a week and the incisions are very well hidden.
