Question:
Does an endoscopic brow lift involve incisions? I am 38 years old and have never had surgery of any kind before. I want my eyebrows lifted a bit.
Answer:
An endoscopic brow lift does involve incisions. These incision are quite small and are placed in the hair just behind your hairline in the forehead and temple region. Specially designed instruments are inserted through these incisions and small endoscopes are used to clearly visualize the important anatomy so that your brow lift is performed safely and effectively. Your incisions should heal almost imperceptibly but, women are the best candidates for any type of scalp incision as they are less likely to suffer from hair loss in the future which would make the incisions more obvious.
