Question:
Does the brow lift have any significant impact on your physical activity? Can I get back to at least light exercise soon after my surgery?
Answer:
I would suggest taking it slowly before getting back into exercise after your brow lift procedure. The results of a brow lift will depend on the body’s ability to heal and maintain the position of the upwardly placed brow. Although I use absorbable screws or sutures to help suspend and maintain the position of the brow after brow lift surgery, the forehead can take several weeks before really stabilizing in the newly place rejuvenated position achieved with the brow lift. Mild walking after a couple of days is fine but more exertional activity should be reserved for a couple of weeks after surgery.
