Question:
I have a hump in my nose that has always bothered me. Can rhinoplasty easily fix genetic malformations?
Answer:
Rhinoplasty can certainly help fix genetic malformation, but, I would say your bump would be better called an inherited characteristic, not a malformation. I have performed rhinoplasty on several members of the same family over the years for similar inherited characteristics such as a large bump on the bridge of the nose.
