Question:
I’m 44, male, and I have very bad vision. I’m terribly nearsighted and I hate wearing glasses. I heard somewhere that blepharoplasties can treat some eye problems. This sounds almost too good to be true! Could a blepharoplasty treat my nearsightedness?
Answer:
Blepharoplasty should have no effect on the quality of your vision either positively or negatively. I would not suggest pursuing blepharoplasty for correction of near or far sightedness.
