Question:
My best friend recently got Dysport injections and she had a really bad allergic reaction to the substance. I’ve been thinking about wrinkle solutions myself, and I’ve been looking into Botox. Does Botox have any record of triggering allergic reactions?
Answer:
I have personally never seen an allergic reaction to either Botox or Dysport. I know that individuals with milk sensitivity should avoid Dysport injections and I am not sure if the same holds true for Botox injections. There are some additives in both Botox and Dysport but, I am not certain they have been linked to any allergic responses. If you are concerned with an allergic reaction to either Botox or Dysport, then I would suggest having a small test dose placed prior to the full amount necessary for proper treatment.
