Question:
How often do you perform blepharoplasty in conjunction with a brow lift? What are the benefits?
Answer:
I perform blepharoplasty approximately 85% of the time that I perform a browlift. The reason for performing blepharoplasty in conjunction with a browlift is that although elevating the brows will help to rejuvenate the upper face, I have found that most of my patients still have excess skin of the upper lids that will need to be removed in order to get the upper face looking truly refreshed. I perform far more upper lid blepharoplasty surgeries without browlifts as not all patients, especially younger ones, require a browlift to improve their appearance and a well performed upper lid blepharoplasty is all that is required.
