Question:
Does the type of brow lift procedure that you use depend on the age of the patient? I am 76 years old and wonder if I would be able to have the less invasive endoscopic brow lift.
Answer:
Age is really only one of the criteria that I use to determine the type of brow lift that I perform on a patient. The type of brow lift that I would perform, including the endoscopic brow lift, is based on the height of the hairline, the thickness of the hair, and the gender of the patient. If you are a 76 year old male I would likely perform a trans blepharoplasty brow lift because of the likelihood of male pattern baldness, but if you are a 76 year old female, an endoscopic brow lift procedure is not out of the question.
