Ear surgery complications

Question:
What are the complications associated with ear surgery and how are they addressed?

Answer:
I assume that you are referring to otoplasty when you are asking about ear surgery. The risks of otoplasty are mostly about creating a naturally appearing ear and that both ears appear the same. Careful measurements are performed on the ears and I prefer a cartilage weakening technique with suture placement rather than cartilage cutting so that the ears are smooth and natural.
