Question:
I am interested in having a brow lift. Although it is a much more invasive surgery, I am particularly interested in a coronal brow lift because I have read that the results are long lasting. How long is the recovery time for a coronal browlift?
Answer:
The coronal brow lift is a very effective and time proven approach to elevation of the brows. The coronal brow lift has lost favor with many surgeons as it has several potential post operative issues, the biggest being a large incision, and scalp numbness. I have found that the results from an endoscopic brow lift are as long lasting as the coronal brow lift with significant decrease in recovery time.
