Question:
I am 48 years old, male and I have had surgery on my face and nose for skin cancer. While I did not lose most of my nose, there is a substantial gouge out of it. Would a nose job be necessary to fill the gouge?
Answer:
Skin cancer surgery can leave you with some fairly significant cosmetic issues on your face and especially on your nose. Those divots are actually quite difficult to fill and a formal nasal reconstruction will likely be necessary in order to hide some of the surgical scarring of your nose. I would definitely have to see the resultant surgical scar that you have in order to determine the best way to cosmetically reconstruct your nose.
