Question:
I have several chicken pox scars on my forehead and wonder if they will interfere with my scheduled brow lift. Will the skin still be able to be lifted and pulled even with the scars?
Answer:
The chicken pox scars on your forehead will not interfere with your scheduled browlift. The chicken pox scars are only limited to the very superficial portion of the skin that covers your forehead. A browlift is performed in the deep layers of the tissue on your forehead either right next to the bone of the skull, or just above a thin layer of connective tissue close to your skull. No scarring from chicken pox extends to the level of the skull itself and thus, will not be a factor in your schedule browlift.
