Question:
I like the shape of my nose except that the tip is turned upwards at a 45-degree angle. If I have the tip surgically fixed, will it alter the shape of the rest of my nose?
Answer:
A tip that is turned upward at a 45-degree angle can be fixed during rhinoplasty without altering the shape of the rest of the nose if that is what you desire. I like to use computer imaging during your consultation so that we can both determine what the most favorable shape to your nose should be and that will be our goal for your rhinoplasty. If you like everything else about your nose, then nothing else will likely need to be changed if your nasal tip is your only concern.
