Question:
I’m 58, female, and I have very bad nasolabial folds and marionette lines. I’ve been thinking about getting injectable fillers to fix these wrinkles, but I don’t want to have to get a bunch of different types. Is there an injectable filler that can treat both nasolabial and marionette lines effectively?
Answer:
The use of different fillers in your marionette lines and nasolabial folds has to do with different variables. Physician preference is always the predominant issue with regards to dermal filler materials used. Different fillers also have different consistencies and last different periods of time. Although, you can use one filler for your marionette lines and nasolabial folds, I would suggest discussing which filler your physician has in mind so that you not only get the best outcome from your dermal filler procedure, but, also the safest and longest acting effect on the areas you have had treated.
