Question:
I’m a 23-year-old male singer. I’ve got a great voice and I’m not too skinny or too fat, but I have a very weak chin and jaw. This is due to the excess fat under my chin. If I decide to get neck liposuction, is there a chance it could change the tone or range of my voice? I can’t have that.
Answer:
Liposuction of the neck will not change the quality of your voice. However, after receiving the description of your facial features, I would suggest a chin implant be placed along with liposuction of the neck if you are really concerned with the appearance of your neck and chin. The results of a properly placed chin implant with conservative liposuction of the neck in a young individual can really be striking. I use computer imaging to help demonstrate the changes that you can expect from chin implant and liposuction surgery.
