Question:
I’m a 42 year old mother of four and I have tons of energy, but you’d never know it by looking at my face. My eyelids sag and I have crow’s feet, causing me to look tired and old. Could eyelid surgery make me look more awake and alert? I want the inside to match the outside.
Answer:
The desire to look as young as you feel is a very common request. We are constantly told that the 40 year old of our generation is more like the 30 year old of our parents generation. Unfortunately, our bodies do not often times listen to what others have to say. Sagging of the lower lids, crow’s feet, and other signs of aging of the eyes really do give away our age. Fortunately, these changes can be remedied. A lower lid blepharoplasty is an excellent way to rejuvenate your eyes and will absolutely give you a rested and rejuvenated appearance. Botox or Dysport to your crows feet is also something that you can do to reverse some of the signs of aging you are noticing and also to prevent further crows feet from developing.
