Question:
I had otoplasty years ago and I feel that my ears have partially returned to their initial position. Is there some reason why this would occur and could I get another procedure done?
Answer:
It is possible that your ears have partially returned to the position they were in prior to your otoplasty. I am not certain of the mechanism for this to occur after a few months of healing, but, like in all surgery, things can change over time. If it is simply the position of your ears that you are concerned with, a revision otoplasty is certainly possible and the outcome should be quite favorable.
