Question:
I’ve read that people usually get a brow lift during middle age. However, I am in my mid-20s and have already noticed severe wrinkling around my forehead and eyebrows. Am I too young for this surgery?
Answer:
Although there may be a genetic predisposition to the aging changes you are seeing in your brows and forehead, I would suggest that in your mid 20’s you are too young to be considering surgical correction of your brow. I would suggest trying Dysport or Botox injections to the brows and around your eyes to help lift your brows and reduce your forehead wrinkles. If this is not effective then perhaps surgical brow lift would be indicated in an extreme situation.
