Question:
My left ear was mutilated by an animal during an attack. Can you perform some type of reconstructive surgery for my ear?
Answer:
Disfiguring injuries to the ear is a common occurrence. Animal injuries are one of the more common ways in which an ear is traumatized. Reconstructive surgery of the ear can be performed however, depending upon the severity of the injury, reconstruction can improve the appearance of the ear, but the ear may still appear different than the opposite non-traumatized ear.
