Question:
Is there a type of person who a mini facelift is most appropriate for? I’m starting to look into getting a facelift but of course I would love to get something less invasive and am wondering if a mini facelift may be right for me.
Answer:
The ideal candidate for a mini facelift procedure is a younger individual, usually in their late forties to fifties, with decent skin tone and elasticity who has developed jowling of the face and slight neck skin redundancy. Patients with poor skin tone and advanced aging to the neck are not particularly great candidates for the mini facelift procedure, but, the mini facelift can still provide improvement to the appearance of the face if the patient would like a shorter recovery period and understands the limitations of the mini facelift procedure.
