Question:
Recently, I began getting Dysport injections to fix my frown and laugh lines. Sure enough the wrinkles have disappeared, but I’m also noticing some awful fatty bags under my eyes! It’s very upsetting. Could these bags have been caused by the Dysport injections?
Answer:
The bags that have appeared underneath your eyes are not likely the result of your Dysport injections. It is more likely that the wrinkles around your eyes have improved so much that you are now beginning to notice other areas and issues that you have with your face that may have already been there. There is a small possibility that relaxation of the muscles around your eyes from the Dysport treatments has enabled the fat to look more herniated. The good news is that these bags can be treated with dermal fillers if they are an issue for you.
