Question:
Is computer imaging always used during the consultation for rhinoplasty and what does it do?
Answer:
I have used computer imaging for rhinoplasty consultations for many years. The software has gotten quite good and really helps to demonstrate to the patient a what to expect from their rhinoplasty surgery. I also use computer imaging to set realistic expectations for the patient in terms of what they can expect their rhinoplasty outcome to be. I also like to use computer imaging during the rhinoplasty consultation to help better communicate with the patient what I am trying to achieve and listen to what the patient has to say about the surgical rhinoplasty plan we mutually agree upon.
