Question:
What is a mini face lift?
Answer:
A mini facelift is a term that describes a facelift procedure that addresses the jowls and to a lesser degree, the neck. There are many names out there for a mini facelift, but, all of these mini facelifts are some form of a MACS lift, Minimal Access Cranial Suspension facelift. The incision of a mini facelift is limited to the area on the front side of your ear and is well camouflaged in the hairline and I place the incision behind the tragus (the small overhanging appendage) on the front side of your ear. The recovery from a mini facelift is considerably shorter than a full facelift surgery as the amount of surgical dissection of a mini facelift is considerably less than a full facelift. The results are quite dramatic and will last about 7 years.
