Question:
What is a threadlift and is it effective?
Answer:
Threadlift surgery was popularized about 7-10 years ago. The threadlift is a procedure that used barbed threads placed through small incisions of the face in order to perform "facelifts", "cheeklifts", and "browlifts". Unfortunately, the threadlift procedure proved to be mostly hype and the results were short lived and the complications which occurred out weighed the benefits of the shorter procedure time and decrease recovery. The threadlift procedure is not very effective and I have not performed the procedure in over 6 years.
