Answer:
The recovery from laser skin resurfacing will vary depending upon the type of laser which is used to perform the procedure. If the laser being used is a fractionated laser, such as Fraxel Restore, then the recovery period takes a few days. During this time your face will be slightly red and swollen. You will be required to use moisturizers to your skin which will be prescribed to you following your laser skin resurfacing procedure. If you are having a CO2 laser resurfacing procedure, the recovery period can be somewhat prolonged due to the deep skin damage that the laser creates.
