Question:
I’m interested in getting a forehead lift but with a very demanding job I simply cannot take a whole lot of time off from work afterward. How long realistically would I need for the bruising and swelling to fade?
Answer:
The recovery from a forehead lift will largely depend upon the type of forehead lift that will need to be performed to best address your problem. If an endoscopic forehead lift is performed, your recovery will be less than a week as the majority of surgery is in the deep tissue and bruising is not very noticeable. If a large incision needs to be made in your scalp to treat your forehead, then the recovery can be a bit longer as the incision will need time to heal. After about 8 days your hair will be able to camouflage the incision and you can likely return to work at that time.
